The front desk employee was so sweet and very accommodating. The location really was great; right downtown in the East Village with so many restaurants and shops within walking distance so I did not need to waste time to drive anywhere. I used the hot tub and it was clean and unoccupied, but it was midweek. I ran into a slight issue with my door becoming inoperable for about an hour but it was nothing caused by the staff. They were able to get me into the room, but I did spend some time in the hallway in my swimsuit. If anyone runs into this, if your key isn't making anything blink on the door mechanism, let them know that is the problem so you don't waste your or their time trying new keys. I would definitely stay here again.

I really liked my stay here. The people at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is good, but not too close to any amenities like a grocery store and it was a bit of a hike to get there from the airport. What I was really disappointed about though was the pool being closed for maintenance. I understand maintenance has to happen, but there being a pool was why I decided to go with hotel when booking.

Staybridge has the best location if you want to be in Des Moines proper and very close to Capitol plus a lot of great restaurants & stores close by

Our room was great a kitchenette with a sofa and a king size bed was soo comfortable. The pool was good and the hot tub was working everything was clean. Love the Dove soap, shampoo etc..

The receptionist was the kindest, most friendly, and entirely helpful young woman I've ever had the pleasure of talking to! Incredibly impressed. The room was spacious and beautiful! The staff was able to fulfill my special requests (picture of a turtle) and my wife was thrilled!

From speaking with the staff on the phone to the check-in checkout process, the staff was beyond helpful and very pleasant. I have to say the employee that checked me in was very accommodating , knowledgeable, and very friendly. She excels at customer service and needs a raise. I have never had such a good experience with hotel staff as I did the woman that checked me in.

The front desk worker, Jesse, was extremely kind and helpful. He did an amazing job of making my boyfriend and I feel welcome to Des Moines. He provided great service and recommendations for local places to explore. Thanks, Jesse!!

I like the room I like everything about the staybridge hotel we just have a good time when we go there My kids love going down there The exercise room the pool we just love it

Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel, lots of fresh food and variety! Room was the quietest room I’ve ever slept in, couldn’t hear doors close or people walking around. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well thought out and had everything you’d need.
